Happy Sunday everyone!! Another soapy post from me! I think it's my sister who recommended this brand and while I was doing our groceries, I remember the recommendation and bought it. I also bought the men's version of this soap. So take a look!

Likes:
Affordable. The retail price is Php 72.50 for 3 pieces of soap that can last up to three weeks for me. Great deal huh!
Scent. It smells like orange and I love how it's not an annoying scent.
Doesn't sting.
Whitening! It really does makes my skin lighter. :)
Easily Available. You can find it in supermarkets and grocery stores easily.
Dislikes:
The only thing that bothered me is that I had a couple of bumps on the first week, but other than that it's great.

Now here's the manly version of the soap that I bought for Migs. It claims to have the cell-active ingredients that helps accelerate healing of micro-shaving cuts, improves stress resistance, promotes skin firmness and tighten pores. It also has moisturizing properties! It may not be whitening but it promises a healthy glowing skin.

Likes:
Affordable. It retails at Php 78.50
Scent. According to my husband "It smells so manly". (haha) It smells like men's perfume.
Whitens. It's a lightening soap for men though it does not promote such.
Easily Available. It can easily be found beside other Kojie San products
Dislikes:
Just like what happened to me, my husband also experienced a few bumps on the first week of usage. But other than that, it's great soap for men who wants healthy glowing skin.

Overall, we love how these soaps perform. We shall continue using it until we find another soap to dry run. :)

DeleteDo you apply sunscreen after using this soap? I have read some posts on the internet that kojic soap makes your skin darker when you are exposed under the sun. what do you think about that?
ReplyDeleteI always apply sunscreen after my moisturizer so I won't know if this causes darkening when you don't apply. Hope this helps.. :)

ReplyDeleteGinamit ko na to for 1 week na pero i noticed na parang umiitim po ako eh. Nag.a'apply po ako ng lotion SPF24 after bath po. Normal lng po ba ito? Should I stop using this soap or i'll wait after maubos yung 1 bar na binili ko?

Hi May, I suggest you wait after you finish the whole bar. Baka nababad ka lang sa araw for the past few weeks or baka dahil din sa lotion? Try a Sunblock with higher SPF kasi mainit talaga pag araw ngayon. :)

ReplyDeleteMay tanong po ulit ako. I've notice po na ang lotion yung cause na walang effect ang kojie san soap. Block and white po yun gamit ko ngayon at umiitim ako ng todo. Effective po ba ang kojie san lotion since kojie san soap po yung gamit ko. I would want to know your suggestions po kung ano dapat ko gamiting lotion. Thank you so much :)
Yes, I suggest na Kojie San lotion din gamitin mo para same formulation with your soap. Let me know kung nag-work. :)

ReplyDeleteTry Royale Kojic Papaya Soap. Very effective, makikita mo agad na may pagbabago. Just put moisturizer/lotion kasi nakaka-dry. Tapos mejo sting nga lang sa balat lalo na sa sensitive skin, pero mawawala din naman siguro if you're skin get used to it. I hope it helps. For faster way of whitening your skin. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to check which is more effective between Kojie San lotion and Block and White Intensive Whitening lotion. Nilalagay ko yung Kojie San sa right arm ko tapos yung Block and White sa left arm ko. One week pa lang and wala pa akong nakikitang malaking difference pero i-u-update ko yung blog ko about it. Check niyo yung blog ko kung gusto niyo malaman ang result ng experiment ko :)

Hi I was in rush to buy kojie san soap for face and body, i have been using it for almost 3 days when I noticed from its box that it is for men? Omg, but in fairness to the product, I really like the it. It smoothens my skin, I havent seen whitening effect yet since I'm using it in less than a week palang. Anyways, what's the difference of kojie san soap for men and women? Until now I'm still using it pa kasi I liked the suppleness of my skin after using it.
ReplyDeleteSame thing miss. Hihi. Sa sobrang pagmamadali ko nadampot ko siya without knowing na for men pala siya. But susubukan ko muna if hindi effective for more than three weeks and if it will cause harm or other bad side results on my skin, I'll stop using it habang maaga pa.
