Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lipstick in Think Pink

As if I don't have a stash overflowing with lipstick already, I bought this matte lipstick from my office mate two weeks ago. At first, I just told myself that I'll just browse the shades, next thing I know is that I am purchasing one already. Good thing is that it's only 250 pesos, it's even cheaper in the U.S.

For the past few years, I've been reading about Wet N Wild lipsticks being dupes of MAC lippies. I never confirmed the theory since this is just the first product that I purchased from the brand. I've read that 'Think Pink' is a dupe for MAC's Creme Cup but I think Think Pink's a bit more pigmented.

What I love
The first thing that I liked about this brand is how cheap it is! For less than 300 pesos you get a decent lipstick that you can wear everyday. Another thing that I love about this product is the longevity. It doesn't lie when the packaging say that it's a "Mega-Last Matte Lipstick". I re-touched my lipstick today before our meeting started at 3 PM. It's 7:34 PM already, I consumed a cup of ice-blended coffee and a small pack of Cheetos and I still have some lipstick left.

Neutral
I have a love and hate relationship with the packaging. The black tube and the clear cap is actually nice because it's not flimsy and it let's you take a peek of the product. BUT I hate the fact that the lipstick is peeking from the tube. It gives me such a hard time putting back the cap. You have to be really careful. What if you accidentally drop the product while the cap is not on? Another thing is the application, it's hard to apply so you'd have to swipe some lip balm first. But for 250 pesos, I can't really complain right? :)

LIP SWATCH: Wet N Wild Mega Last Matte Lipstick in Think Pink
The shade can be a bit intimidating in the tube because it's a Barbie-ish Pink but it's not that loud once applied. It's actually wearable for everyday use. In my skin tone (NC25), I think it's closer to MAC Please Me rather than MAC Creme Cup.

Overall, this is my first Wet N Wild product but will definitely won't be my last. I think it's really worth it! This product definitely is quality for less. :) If you're on a budget and want a girly Pink shade that you can wear everyday that will look sweet without being too loud, this is for you.

  1. I have these and they're gorgeously pigmented. They're creamy matte which is a good thing coz it won't dry the lips.

    1. I agree that they're really pigmented but my lips is really dry so I still need to apply some balm first.

  5. I have please me and they do look similar. On you, it looks like a nice barbie-ish pink. On my skin tone, if it's a dupe for please me, it's a pale pink naman.

    1. I have a MAC Please Me review here as well. Think Pink is more pinkish on me though and Please Me is an MLBB. Good for you to have a skin tone that makes this an MLBB. :)
