Last month my previous supervisor who's also a Royale Beauty distributor asked me if I wanted to buy this soap from him because it's on sale. My first thought was that it's a bit pricey for a Kojic Papaya soap but I was too curious to know why. To make the story short, I bought it. So here's my review..
Packaging. I love how it's not a cheap box that can easily melt but a plastic container with a hygienic opening. I also love the fact that they included some directions and stated the ingredients in the product.
Mild Peeling Effect. After every bath, you'll notice some mild peeling upon drying yourself. It's a great feature because you'll know that it's really effective.
I can use it in my face! My face is the most sensitive part of my body when it comes to whitening soaps. I never used anything for both my face and my body. It easily gets irritated and I break out. But not with this one. I love how it makes my facial skin glow with the rest of my body.
Price. That is a hefty price for Php 170! I can find another Kojic Papaya soap with those ability with half of this one's price.
Scent. It smells awful!! I'm sorry but it smells like puke mixed with Papaya. :(
Not easily available. You still have to find a Royale Beauty distributor to have one.
Overall, this product has its ups and downs. It's not good but it's not that bad either. Obviously, I won't buy it again because of the price and the scent, maybe I'll try the other soap which is the L-Gluta Power. But I think it's effective in the long run due to the peeling effect. People who can bear with that scent will definitely benefit from its whitening effects. I think it just depends on the user's preference. Maybe I just find it too overpowering, but some may not. Oh well, I'll just count this one for my experience but I'm not giving up on Royale Beauty products.
