Instagrammable Eats: Honeybee Patisserie + My "Tauriel" of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Theory

Last Friday, we decided to eat at Tokyo Bubble Tea Katipunan but the restaurant was fully occupied because it's lunch time already. The waitress then allowed us to sit at Honeybee Patisserie which is a  cafe connected to Bubble Tea. I don't know why but I'm recently interested with the interiors of restaurants. This place particularly caught my attention, so I took pictures even though I'm sick with fever and cold that day.

Awesome right? I adore how the interior designer stand by the theme of "Honeybee". From the ceiling, to the wallpaper, you can feel that you're inside a beehive. I love it!

JCC Black Milk Tea

Salmon Sahimi

Chicken Teriyaki

Spicy Tokyo Maki

To cheer up the sick me, we ordered our all-time favorite JCC Black Milk Tea! Yummiest Milk Tea EVER! For lunch we tried their Salmon Sashimi, Chicken Teriyaki, and Spicy Tokyo Maki. We really loved the Salmon Sashimi because it melts in your mouth and the Salmon is just so fresh (salivating right now). Migs loved the Chicken Teriyaki so much that he broke his own rule of no-rice meals. The Spicy Tokyo Maki could've been much better though.

Last Sunday we watched The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. It was the longest movie I've ever watched on a cinema but it still left me wanting more. I am so happy about the creation of Tauriel's character and I've been raving about it on my Twitter page. Is it just me who noticed that all the characters of the Lord of the Rings saga are men? I've been asking Migs who's a huge fan of LOTR the same question over the years he's watching it over and over again. Yes there's Arwen, Eowyn and Galadriel but other than them, I don't know any more women who played a big role. I think this is the reason why the writers of the movie created Tauriel's character who's not really in The Hobbit book.

Your thoughts?
