RATING: 9/10

Romantic (Left) and Sweetheart (Right)
So I was thinking about the second product that I'm going to review and GUESS WHAT? I thought: Why not start with the product that I'm currently using since I started with my favorite one? I have mixed reviews between these two swatches.

Romantic (Left) and Sweetheart (Right)

Revlon Says:
It’s a pampering balm fused with a lightweight lip stain in an adorable chubby crayon. Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain gives softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of color that lasts hour after hour. The gel formula comes in 12 vibrant shades that match any look or mood. Lightweight Lip stain + Moisturizing Balm! 00% of women who tried it felt their lips were instantly moisturized with a soft stain of color! Retractable chubby crayon, no sharpener required!

Romantic (Left) and Sweetheart (Right)

LIKES:
- Super cute packaging. They look like chubby colorful crayons and it already showcase the color of the lippie through the color of the packaging.
- Pigmented color
- Gloss and lipstick in one
- It lasts 5 hours and only needs minor re-touching.
- The price is reasonable even though it only contain a small amount of the product, it lasts long so it's reasonable enough for me.
- Minty scent upon application
- Cute names for each shade. Endearments! Lovely..

DISLIKES:
The Romantic color doesn't really showcase red, it's orange! I was expecting it to be a darker red. It's also hard to remove. Water is not enough, you have to use a make-up remover and it still settles on the line upon removal.

me wearing Sweetheart
OVERALL:
I love Sweetheart but I'm disappointed with Romantic. I will surely repurchase Sweetheart. But I think I'm going to give away the Romantic.

*UPDATE as of April 2013*
I gave the Romantic shade to my office mate and it looks so good on her! Seriously! So basically, this shade just doesn't suit everyone. I have a yellow undertone and it looks shit on me. So you have to consider your undertone first before buying this one. My office mate have a pinkish undertone by the way.

How about you? What can you say about this product? Do you like it?

  3. Hi Krisella, the Mac MUAs at he mac counter will surely be able to help you find your perfect shade. But, based on your picture, your shade is probably NC25 or NC30. If you plan to buy this foundie, be sure to test it out first on one part of your face to see if you experience any itchiness since I know a lot of friends who are not hiyang to this. If you have dry skin, skip this. I'd suggest the Mineral Skin Finish instead. ^_^
