Photo Diary: Coron Palawan First Day + Corto Del Mar Hotel Review

It's been more than a week since I last posted and there's a lot of comments and requests that I didn't have time to answer and I am so sorry.. :( I've been in a vacation (rather a challenging adventure) for 4 days in Coron Palawan and busy with our company cheer dance competition. So to make it up to you guys, I'm telling you my adventure story that happened not more than a week ago.

Coron Palawan
Here's my first sight of  Coron Palawan last Monday (June 17, 2013). Unfortunately, we didn't land. Yes you read that right! We did not land. Our plane went straight back to Manila after pushing our luck with landing. Busuanga airport is surrounded with hills and it's really small so there's no visibility when the weather is as mercurial as this place. Me and Migs went through the nasty process of re-booking for the flight the next day. To make our moods brighter, we went to Ace Water Spa to use our 4-hour voucher.

Tuesday - June 18 2013: Clearer sky isn't it? Yeyy! We finally landed.

Corto Del Mar Coron Palawan
Here's our lovely hotel named Corto Del Mar. It's the newest hotel in Coron Palawan.

Our welcome drinks - freshly squeezed pineapple and oranges. Thanks for the hospitality Annie! :)

Nice hotel isn't it? If you want more information or for reservations, just visit their website here.

Mt. Tapyas
After our nap, we decided to have a rainy climb at Mt. Tapyas for some sightseeing. We thought it's just as high as Lucban's Kamay ni Hesus. I've never been so wrong! It's a hefty 740 STEPS!

Mt. Tapyas
This is my "I-thought-I'm-dying-moment". Seriously! My sight was hazy because of that climb.

But after seeing this view, it's all worth it!! :)

Corto Del Mar Bar
After a long day, me and Migs chilled out at Corto Del Mar's bar. We love trying different drinks so we ordered four. Though their pricing is quite steep, you'll love how the bartenders mix it. They make sure that the ingredients used are fresh and when they blended too much they'll give you a free refill! How nice is that? :)

So that's basically how our first day in Coron Palawan went. Just tell me if you want to know more about our trip or if you have any question. Have a great day ahead!
