My Burt's Bees Lip Balm Dilemma

There are goals in our life that we spend a lot of time planning and evaluating but end up being disappointed because they did not fall into place. I've read a lot of quotes saying that maybe it's God's way of telling me that it's not for me, or there's just something better coming my way. But what the hell, I'm in this really confused state where it just don't make sense at all. I hate it when I already set my mind about something to happen but it didn't. Just like this Burt's Bees lip balm that I was looking forward to getting my hands on for months. I ended up being disappointed. Why?

Ok I get it, it's 100% all natural. I don't hate it (with conviction) because it's not working. It works. Really it does, just not in the way that I want it to. Let me explain. I've been using my balm as primer for my lipstick whenever I apply one. Basically they are my base, but this  beeswax lip balm isn't made for that.

On the lighter note, it heals chapped or cracked parts. Burt's Bees wax is basically healthy for the lips but I find the Peppermint feel and waxy texture too overpowering. It felt like applying Vicks Vaporub on my mouth. (Lol) Good thing Migs is into Peppermint balms. He really likes the Men's Cool Aqua Lip Balm Menthalum, so I gave him back this Burt's Bees. 

Overall, I have mixed emotions for this balm. The packaging is obviously a winner, any girl who'd see it on the shelf would grab it given the extra bucks to spare. The Yellow color and Bee theme is really cute. I'd settle for this balm if I'm the kind of girl who doesn't wear a lot of lipstick. But I do, so I think I'll pass. Going back to my intro, I came up with a conclusion that (maybe) I don't want it bad enough or I'm not desperate enough to make it work. Good thing someone else is. ;)
