Shiseido Lacquer Gloss in Baby Doll PK 304

Finally, I am starting to love this summer season. I just came back from our company's Summer Team Building with an LSS for M.I.A's Y.A.L.A. and uneven nose tan. Speaking of summer, I got this lacquer gloss from Shiseido last Friday as a token for attending their first International Beauty Fair. It is a perfect summer shade that is non-drying and hydrating.

Baby Doll is described as a sheen with a complex transparency, as though multiple layers have been applied. It creates beautiful lips with appealing, clear color and a dewy smooth feel. The shade is like raspberry in my skin tone. It is not sticky unlike other lip glosses that I tried before. The thing about Shiseido's lip products is that they always aim to conceal lip lines. That is why they offer this lacquer gloss collection which is really pigmented but with the texture of a lip gloss to hide the lines and pigment the lips all at the same time.

Another thing that I love about this product is the wand applicator. It is different from all the other gloss wands that I tried before. The texture have the usual feel but it is flat. This shape makes it easier to apply the gloss on the sides of the lips and even easier to spread all over. By the way, the packaging is so elegant as well. The glossy black bottle and the clear part is very classy. I really love seeing it in my makeup kit.

Why hello summer short hair! This is the first picture I took after chopping more than six inches of my hair.  I am not sure what got into me but I woke up that morning craving for a short hair. Overall, though the price may set you back for Php 1,250, the staying power is good for 4-6 hours even when you eat or drink. Baby doll is a shade that will complement every skin tone and is a great gloss to top your lips this summer.
