Finally, I am starting to love this summer season. I just came back from our company's Summer Team Building with an LSS for M.I.A's Y.A.L.A. and uneven nose tan. Speaking of summer, I got this lacquer gloss from Shiseido last Friday as a token for attending their first International Beauty Fair. It is a perfect summer shade that is non-drying and hydrating.

What's in my Makeup Kit
It's mid-week again and I just realized this morning that I haven't done any "What's in my bag" post like ever. I just found out that it's such a nice thing to read about a person's personal stuffs because you somewhat know more about them. So here I am sharing a piece of myself.. This is more like a hybrid of "What's in my Makeup Kit"-SLASH-"Makeup Routine".
Face:
1. The Face Shop Power Perfection BB Cream
So those are my trusted face products for my everyday use. I use Pond's as my moisturizer, then I apply The Face Shop's BB cream. I've been using it for almost a year now and I can say that I couldn't ask for more. It's so reliable and easy to use. Before locking my face using Maybelline Cake powder, I first apply this Majolica Majorca cream de cheek for a long lasting pinkish cheek.
Eyes:
2. In2it Waterproof Brow Powder
3. bareMinerals Prime Time
6. Burjois Waterproof eyeliner
My eye makeup takes the longest time of my makeup routine everyday. First, I apply the bareMinerals Prime Time primer to make the eyeshadow color pop out and last long then I apply the Shiseido eyeshadow. I then apply Burjois eyeliner followed by curling my lashes using this Shu Uemura curler. To make the final touches, I use the Daiso mascara and fix my eyebrows using In2it brow powder.
Lips:
This is obviously my favorite part of my makeup routine. Actually, this part of the kit changes like every other day. I change my lippies whenever I feel like it. To moisturize my lips and protect it, I use Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Glow followed by my chosen lippie which is Revlon Balm Stain and for the finishing touch I use Majolica Majoca Gloss.
I hope you enjoyed this post. :)
Current Favorites (July 2013)
Helloo!! Can you believe it's already July? We're on the second half of 2013! Yeah.. Just let that sink in. This year went faster than I thought it would. And because of that I'm trying something new. Monthly "Favorites" post! I had a lot of products to try last month so I thought I might do a post like this one to incorporate the products that I liked but didn't have time to do an individual post. Here you go..
Shiseido Maquillage Eyeshadow Palette Pictures and Swatches + FOTD
Here's my favorite brand and product from The Beauty Junkee's 4th Anniversary Giveaway. I got this Shiseido item with a perfumed body wash and a sample makeup remover. I tried the body wash and it smells like Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue on my skin! I'm trying my best not to use it everyday because I know re-purchasing will be hard and expensive.

The packaging is a baby pink and rose gold container that have this elegant feel.

It comes with an application suggestion cover and a couple of useful brushes. It also has this lovely mirror. I have to give it a perfect score for the overall packaging.

Overall, this palette is a nice eyeshadow to use during night events because of it's glimmer effect that'll make your eyes standout. I already used it on our cheer dance production number and it's really nice. Thank you Shiseido for sponsoring Ms. Martha's giveaway and for giving us the chance to experience this awesome product!

Last year, I was able to discover Ms. Martha Sta. Barbara's blog - The Beauty Junkee from my professor in college Ms. Sara Garces who's also a beauty blogger herself. I immediately got hooked on reading her posts. I love the products that she reviews as well as those inspiring posts. Last month, she celebrated the 4th anniversary of her blog. She had this giveaway on where you have to say something about your all-time favorite post of her blog then follow and like the sponsors' pages. I immediately had an answer to this one. I remember being so inspired with this post of hers entitled "On Hard Work and Delaying Gratification". It tackles about her experience about delaying gratification and that good things happen to those who wait. I really love this post! It's something I want my children to read someday. I even shared it to Migs and office mates.
Awesome right? Of course my favorite part is having a picture taken with Ms. Martha! Oh My Gosh! She's even prettier in person. I swear I was starstruck! I was so kilig! :) Again, thank you Ms. Martha for this giveaway and for giving us the chance to meet you. You are wonderful.
