The Face Shop My Lips Eat Cherry Aqua Tint in Bloody Red

Believe it or not, this is the first lip and cheek tint that I purchased since I've always loved the full coverage of lipsticks. I remember my sister convincing me to buy one because she mentioned that it has been on her "to-buy list" (even with a picture on her phone) since last year. I had my eyes on The Body Shop's but she tried it already and told me that it is not that pigmented so I skipped it. The regular price of this tint is Php 295, but I only paid Php 225. We were so lucky that it's on sale. Surprisingly, I'm currently loving this tint that I use it almost every day. Thanks to my sister and our shopping impulse!

I initially wanted to get the Juicy Red shade, but it's out of stock already so I grabbed this last piece which is in Bloody Red. This shade turned out to be a great choice since it's more appropriate in my age and status. After reading about the Juicy Red shade online, I concluded that the shade is for teenagers and Bloody Red suits me better.

Outfit Post: When in doubt, wear an LBD!

Once again, it's our company's annual Christmas Party and the theme was "Cosmic 80's". 

I didn't really follow the theme because: #1 I have no idea what it mean exactly or how it should look like AND how I'd look like; #2 I don't want to purchase clothes that can only be worn once because that's very impractical; #3 I don't know any other occasion when I can wear this dress that Persunmall sent me. So I just followed the fashion rule: "When in doubt, wear an LBD!"

I took the opportunity to flaunt my insecurities such as my forehead and bowlegs. It felt so good to have the confidence to shine! You see, you don't have to keep yourself from wearing the clothes you like just to hide your insecurities. Flaunt those legs and forehead that you've been hiding for years because what's important is that you're confident in what you're wearing and that you're having fun. :)

What's in my Makeup Kit

It's mid-week again and I just realized this morning that I haven't done any "What's in my bag" post like ever. I just found out that it's such a nice thing to read about a person's personal stuffs because you somewhat know more about them. So here I am sharing a piece of myself.. This is more like a hybrid of "What's in my Makeup Kit"-SLASH-"Makeup Routine". 

Face:

4. Maybelline Clear Smooth BB Silk Cake Powder

So those are my trusted face products for my everyday use. I use Pond's as my moisturizer, then I apply The Face Shop's BB cream. I've been using it for almost a year now and I can say that I couldn't ask for more. It's so reliable and easy to use. Before locking my face using Maybelline Cake powder, I first apply this Majolica Majorca cream de cheek for a long lasting pinkish cheek.

Eyes:

3. bareMinerals Prime Time 

4. Shiseido Maquillage Eyeshadow Palette

5. Daiso Long Lash Mascara

6. Burjois Waterproof eyeliner

My eye makeup takes the longest time of my makeup routine everyday. First, I apply the bareMinerals Prime Time primer to make the eyeshadow color pop out and last long then I apply the Shiseido eyeshadow. I then apply Burjois eyeliner followed by curling my lashes using this Shu Uemura curler. To make the final touches, I use the Daiso mascara and fix my eyebrows using In2it brow powder.

Lips:

3. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart 

This is obviously my favorite part of my makeup routine. Actually, this part of the kit changes like every other day. I change my lippies whenever I feel like it. To moisturize my lips and protect it, I use Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Glow followed by my chosen lippie which is Revlon Balm Stain and for the finishing touch I use Majolica Majoca Gloss.

My Everyday Facial Care Routine

Today I'm going to show you my everyday facial care routine.
Do you want to know my secret to flawless facial skin? Luckily, I am not that much oily. My only problem is my T-Zone specifically my forehead and nose area. Every now and then a single zit or two will show but will say goodbye after a couple of days or so.

Celeteque Brightening Facial Wash

Zits leaves unlikable marks.. Too prevent it from settling, I use this facial wash to brighten the dark spots. It's really effective!

Defensil Soap

When my skin gets out of control due to hormonal changes, I use Defensil to remove those monstrous pimples!! I discovered this soap when I was pregnant and breaking out.
